After inquiring on the lively music playing from a small radio tucked into an open shelf in the lobby, I befriended one of the security guards of my university’s buildings. Our short conversations between outside and the elevator were about music and family. He would tell me how I reminded him of his daughter reminding me of my family whom are in the opposite hemisphere. I set out to gift him something.
